Our client is a financial institution providing the United States with a safe, flexible, and stable monetary system.  They have a contract opportunity for a Senior Level System Engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations, and support.

This role is onsite in Washington, DC and offers a partial hybrid schedule. Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
• Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations
• Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations, VLAN, VMC, primary, secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations
• Experience with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations
• Experience with PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting
• Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens
