Our client has an immediate need for a CLEARED Site Reliability Engineer in their Reston, VA location.  In this role, you will be responsible for envisioning, designing, coding, validating, and deploying NEW features from the ground up!

This direct hire role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.  Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI FSP Clearance. 

Responsibilities

• Build/deploy/troubleshoot software systems in secure clouds 
• Provide operational support for the systems we own, address customer issues, and drive operational excellence to reduce operational load 
• Solve problems and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions 
• Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning 
• Design/build/test robust, scalable services, and APIs using cloud technologies 
• Collaborate within the team and across teams to drive solutions 
• Write clear and concise documentation 
• Leverage Azure components including but not limited to Azure web services, Service Fabric, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Queues, and Azure Functions 

Qualifications

• 2 year of coding skills in one or more popular languages and platforms, such as any of the following: C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Python
• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 additional years of experience
• Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI FSP Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
