They are looking for several Security Operations Engineers for a Federal program in Washington, DC. In this role, you will assist in the development, implementation and oversight of SOC standard operating procedures used to guide daily activities of the operations center. This is an important agency of the federal government that is responsible for biomedical and public health research.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be able to pass the client’s background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation and oversight of SOC standard operating procedures used to guide daily activities of the operations center
• Utilize various security tools like:
  • Tenable Security Center
  • Symantec DLP
  • Netsparker
  • Penetration Testing
  • Service Now
  • Web Application Security
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Incident Response
  • Forensics
  • Security Tool Evaluation
  • Endpoint Protection (Cylance)
• Monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
• 3 - 5 years of experience with incident response services within an enterprise network security environment
• CISSP, CISM, or GCIH certifications are desired
