Our prestigious client is an industry-leading integrator providing a wide range of services and solutions to the Federal Government.  They have several contract roles for Junior-Level Security Engineers in Washington, DC, with some WFH opportunity.  In this role, you will focus on managing network security within a multi-tenanted enterprise environment.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various technical teams and report to a Senior Network Architect within the CISO department
• Your work will span across multiple security technologies to include but not limited to: AWS, Akamai, Checkpoint, GCP, Palo Alto, and zScaler.
• Implement and Manage Security Measures
• Deploy and maintain security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network access control (NAC) mechanisms.
• Assess network vulnerabilities, identify security gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience with the following:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security
  • Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
• Experience with the following:
  • Akamai Content Delivery Network (Akamai CDN)
  • Zscaler Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
