We are seeking a Residential Leasing Advisor for a reputable family-owned company with a long-standing history in the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to move-in. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates, building strong tenant relationships, and supporting the overall success of the communities.

The position is based in McLean, VA, and oversees properties located mostly in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours, respond to leasing inquiries, and guide prospective tenants through the application and leasing process.
• Foster positive relationships with current and potential residents, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Assist in executing marketing initiatives, social media outreach, and community engagement strategies to attract prospective tenants.
• Prepare and review lease agreements, process applications, and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Ensure model units and community amenities are well-maintained and presentable for tours.
• Stay up to date on local rental market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a customer service-related field is preferred
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in leasing software and CRM systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and rental regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in real estate or leasing are a plus.
