Our client has a contract opportunity for a Purview Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in data governance and Microsoft Purview technologies to contribute and make a difference. This is a technical role, responsible for implementing and managing IAM systems to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to the organization’s system and data. The ideal candidate has great consulting skills and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

This role is in Springfield, VA, and is primarily remote.  Candidates should reside within a reasonable distance to allow for occasional onsite work, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the Operations Group and the Application Group to ensure the successful implementation of changes in identity and access management.
• Collaborate with the Ops team to collect the detailed information required by the project team for a seamless implementation.
• Interpret operational requirements and communicate them effectively to the Application team to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Purview
• Proven experience in Identity and Access Management
• Experience and knowledge with the following software:
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • SailPoint
• Expertise with security principles
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

Compensation

• Competitive salary range of $140K-$165K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
