Our client has an immediate need for an Oracle / Java Applications Developer to work REMOTE on a Federal project based in Washington, DC. In this role, you will serve as a technical SME to support and coordinate the Java and Oracle application updates that are required for an integration of an updated user authentication solution. The successful candidate will have expertise with the development and support of web-based applications, service-oriented architecture, and database systems.

This role is 100% remote and is expected to last at least one year. Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders, and be able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement application updates to support the use of federated authentication and multi-factor authentication via SAML, Open Connect, or OAuth
• Work closely with application developer resources to install, integrate, and optimize the federated authentication and authorization solution supporting an Oracle/Java application portfolio
• Assist in development, implementation, and testing of application code changes required to successfully integrate digital identity and federated authentication solutions
• Support the development and update of application configuration and end-user documentation to reflect the newly introduced federated authentication model
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and software and/or business testers on system integration and end-to end testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of relevant experience with no degree)
• 5+ years of experience using JavaScript-based UI framework, JavaScript & jQuery, REST APIs, WCF, Oracle and SQL databases, and stored procedures
• Working knowledge of ColdFusion
• Experience integrating applications with SharePoint or Office365
• Experience with Oracle Identity Management Suite (OIM, OAM, OUD, OPAM)
• Experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC) including design, testing, deployment, documentation, and support activities
