Our client is a financial institution providing the United States with a safe, flexible, and stable monetary system.  They have a contract opening for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team, assisting the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting routing and switching issues, developing new designs, and managing maintenance windows.  The ideal candidate has extensive expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios.

This role is in Washington, DC, and offers a partial HYBRID schedule. Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in a large data center environment
• Expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies: BGP, OSPF, STP in NXOS and IOSXE platforms
• Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large data center networks
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers
• XVLAN, Wireless and AWS networking is a plus
• Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens
