Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Job Description
Our direct and largest client has an immediate need for a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to work on a Federal program in Washington, DC. The M&E practice for this program has just recently started and is expected to grow rapidly, so candidates must accept an environment where M&E is at its nascent stage. In this role, you will work with stakeholders from various agencies to develop and implement performance measurement plans to yield analytical insights, as well as represent the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Unit in coordination meetings. This role is primarily REMOTE, with onsite presence in Washington, DC approximately 1-2 times per week.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Interim or Active Secret Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Public Policy, Public Health, Advanced Analytical Methods, Statistics, Management, International Development.
- 2 - 6 years of experience as a Monitoring and Evaluation expert performing tasks like:
- Building M&E capacity
- Development of logic models/theories of change
- Development of indicators to measure progress towards results
- Setting indicator targets
- Development of data collection tools
- Analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicator data
- Reporting results of M&E analyses to project implementers.
- Experience with data visualization

Job Requirements
Compensation
- Competitive salary range of $108K-$115K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
