MicroStrategy Developer - Senior-Level

Job Description

The Squires Group has a contract opportunity for a Senior MicroStrategy Developer to work on a Federal project based in Washington, DC (REMOTE work is available, but candidates must be local to DC for occasional onsite presence.) As a Senior MicroStrategy Developer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated MicroStrategy solutions. Your deep expertise will play a critical role in crafting complex business intelligence strategies, enhancing performance, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier solutions.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens, able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements, analyze business requirements, and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Design and build advanced MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and applications.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
  • Analyze data, optimize MicroStrategy solutions, and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver strategic insights and innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated on MicroStrategy trends and implement best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive (10+ years) experience designing and developing advanced MicroStrategy solutions.
  • Expert proficiency in MicroStrategy tools, including Report Services, Web, Mobile, and Dashboard development.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • 10+ years of Client Account Management experience
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring a team of developers.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • MicroStrategy certifications, such as MicroStrategy Certified Developer, are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Federal Health or global public health projects, particularly in HIV/AIDS and PEPFAR initiatives is a plus
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Job Requirements

Compensation

  • Competitive salary range of $105K-$135K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
  • Employee benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K plan and additional voluntary benefits. Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
