The Squires Group is currently staffing a high-profile Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) initiative for a major utility provider in the southern U.S. This project involves deploying the latest version of IBM Maximo (MAS 9), including MAS 9 Mobile, to transform asset management and field operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-term project focused on modernizing utility infrastructure with cloud-native Maximo solutions. 

Per our Client Contract, these roles are open to US Citizens or Green Card Holders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Maximo MAS 9 applications including automation scripting, custom workflows, and MBO logic.
• Implement and support MAS 9 Mobile features for field workforce enablement.
• Integrate Maximo with internal systems using MIF, APIs, and middleware tools.
• Collaborate with technical leads and business users to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
• Participate in performance tuning, testing, and cloud-native deployment support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (MAS 7.6+); direct MAS 9 experience is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in Maximo scripting (Jython/JavaScript), MIF, and object configurations.
• Familiarity with MAS 9 Mobile or Maximo Anywhere mobile framework.
• Experience in the utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors is a strong plus.
• Exposure to containerized environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift) is a bonus.
