Manual Test Lead - REMOTE

Job Description

Our prestigious direct client is an industry-leading integrator who provides a wide range of services and solutions to the Federal Government and our Veterans. They are seeking an experienced Manual Test Lead to apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies.

 

Bring your talent to this important Federal Agency serving over 15 million American Veterans. This position is 100% REMOTE.  Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens that can pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide test strategy, create, review and execute test cases based on business requirements
  • Document results of test cases based on system requirements, functional and technical specifications
  • Ensure software meets intended user requirements and user scenarios
  • Report defects and document issues as required in Jira
  • Assist development team in triage and resolution of defects
  • Perform re-test of defects and review test results
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests
  • Work with application teams to help populate and/or create test data in the test environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of Test Management and API Testing experience
  • 3+ years of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and DevOps experience
  • Mortgage industry experience, especially around Loan Origination
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, Postman
  • Experience in testing projects in an Agile framework with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with development collaboration software (Jira, etc.)
  • Ability to work with users and vendors on issues and questions
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, able to pass the client’s background check

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of MISMO formats
