Our client has a multi-year contract opportunity for a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer to work REMOTE with several Federal Agencies based in Washington, DC.  As a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer, you will be supporting the IBM Federal zCloud offering in support of Mainframe (z/OS) zCloud clients.  You will be maintaining IBM z14, z15, and z16 mainframe and z/OS 2.4 or higher operating system.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to meet the client’s background requirements. 

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience installing, customizing, and maintaining MVS operating systems
• 5+ years of experience supporting a stabilized IBM mainframe system and VM environments
• Experienced with SMP/E and Mainframe Software Maintenance with performance, problem determination, and resolution skills
• Perform systems planning, installation/decommission, and configuration/customization
• Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to meet the client’s background requirements
