Global Actuarial Analyst

Job Description
Our client is a prestigious international firm that has won numerous awards in their industry. They have an opening for a Global Actuarial Analyst to work REMOTE, where you will be part of a team providing consulting advice and services to multinational companies concerning retirement, broader benefits, and compensation issues for their global operations. This is a newly created role in the growing Actuarial department. The ideal candidate is a polished professional who takes enormous pride in their work.

Responsibilities
- Create project plans
- Monitor progress to deadlines and budget
- Schedule and manage weekly/bi-weekly status meeting calls
- Serve as a resource and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection, analyses, and project execution required for:
- Accounting for pension and benefit costs
- Actuarial valuations
- Retirement plan benefit calculations and statements
- Complete analyses required for special projects including mergers and acquisitions, benefit plan strategy and design, plan management and governance strategy, and global financing and funding policies
- Prepare the first draft of deliverables for review by the consultant
- Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and responding to RFPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience performing core valuation work in a client service-oriented environment with corporate defined benefit and/or group health plans,
- Experience working on global HR benefit programs and a demonstrated interest in international issues
- Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
- Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Access and Excel
- Actuarial exam progress toward ASA credentials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience living and working overseas and foreign language skills
