Job Description

The Squires Group is currently seeking several Franchise Directors for our client near Harrisburg, PA.  Join the ranks of an international leader in the thriving $89+ billion janitorial services industry, catering to a diverse range of businesses. In this role, you will provide initial and ongoing training and customer service support while upholding and delivering on company standards and acting as a liaison between the customer and business owner. You'll take on the role of managing and expanding the sales team, overseeing operations, and nurturing the growth of the franchise base. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing relationships with national account and local vendors while using them as a resource to train and consult with the franchise owners.
  • Evaluate and assist in resolving the customers’ concerns as it relates to the company’s services.
  • Conduct initial walk through and / or review of new customer properties in preparation for the offering and selling of the commercial cleaning contract
  • Develop and maintain constructive and effective relationships with Franchised Business owners and evaluate their developmental needs by conducting business development meetings.
  • Proactively identify and assist Franchised Business Owners in the resolution of their customer’s issues to help ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to brand integrity.
  • Act as a liaison between our Franchised Business Owners and their customers. And, when needed, assist both parties towards resolving conflict.
  • Document appropriate records and business forms for both our Franchised Business Owners and their customers.
  • Fully understand the operation of, and instruct and demonstrate the use of, key janitorial equipment and chemical supplies used by our Franchised Business Owners.
  • Assist the Franchised Business Owner in selling additional services (increases in frequency or scope of work, floor care services, etc.) to current and new customers
  • Sell supplies (toiletries, towels, hand soaps, etc.) to current and new customers.
  • Make customer service calls to customer accounts to verify service satisfaction and address concerns when necessary.
  • Send emails to a segment of the customer base monthly in an effort to receive a rating on the quality of the franchise owner’s service.
  • Participate in, and assist with, weekly staff meetings and daily operations meetings. Verify and perform inventory count at month end.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service, sales or training experience
  • College degree is recommended but not required
  • Strong ethics and values - adhering to an appropriate and effective set of core values and beliefs.
  • Previous commercial cleaning services experience a plus, or is comfortable learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge
  • Ability to effectively provide direction and advice to customers and Franchise Business Owners.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively train, consult, and provide direction and advice to Franchised Business Owners.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Professional appearance, demeanor and attention to detail
  • Ability to network across the Company effectively and maintain working relationships with team members
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Consistently reliable attendance
  • Proficiency in computer skills not limited to, but including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must have the ability to multi-task effectively
