Our client has upcoming project needs for Automated Test Engineers to support a U.S. Homeland Security program in Columbia, MD (the role is primarily remote, but requires onsite presence once per week, so candidates must be local.) Feel good about your work, as your team looks to ensure the safety of flights in the United States with passenger screening. Work closely with developers, professional services team and product managers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years of experience with the following:
• Automated test coding using Java (or development experience using C++ or C#)
• Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing
• Open-source automation tools such as Selenium/Serenity/Cucumber
• Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the following is a plus:
• Using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
• Front-end development including JavaScript frameworks
• In a large-scale Federal IT Program
• SAFe Agile delivery framework

Compensation

Competitive salary range of $70K-$85K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
