Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces.  They have a need for an Application Developer to work onsite in Dayton, OH. In this role you will assist in designing, developing, and engineering software solutions using SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Java, while supporting development activities, providing code demonstrations, communicating weekly status reports, contributing to team efforts, and helping develop Software Development Plans, Preliminary Designs, and Software Design Documents.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and engineering of software solutions using SQL stored queries, procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

• Develop web applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Java.

• Support ongoing development activities and communicate weekly status reports.

• Provide demonstrations of code to stakeholders as needed.

• Contribute to other team efforts and collaborative initiatives.

• Assist in the development of production Software Development Plans (SDP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of two years of experience or three years of experience with no degree. 
• 2-3 years of experience with Java and Unit and Integration testing of code.
• Experience with build tools, Ant and Maven a plus. 
• Experience with CM tools, SVN and Git a plus.
• US Citizenship 

Compensation:

• W2 Hourly rate: $45 - 50. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
