Our client will be undergoing a large Digital Transformation Initiative in 2024. They are using the ARIS tool to enhance their operational efficiency and will need an ARIS Consultant to help support this transformation. Your Coaching and ARIS expertise will be crucial in creating process improvements throughout this transformation.  This role is anticipated to begin in Q1 of 2024.

This contract role is PART TIME. While most of the work will be done remotely, ideally candidates should be able to be onsite in Springfield, VA as needed (approximately one day per week).  Per our client contract, candidates must be Green Card holders or U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintaining BPM architecture in ARIS
• Designing process models and reusable libraries in ARIS
• Working with new modelers in reviewing models for semantic checks and correct notation
• Train new modelers to the ARIS platform along with the client user community
• Set up folders/updating value chain/function trees for any new models that have to be created by modelers
• Set up sandboxes for new modelers
• Support modeling efforts as needed for projects and other initiatives
• Introduce team to new features and capabilities of the application and provide on-going, continuous learning
• Participate in any BPM meetings with the group as needed
• Maintain all object libraries (roles, systems) for any inclusions and exclusions and send out weekly report 
• Defines BPM architecture governance requirements
• Sending out weekly reports to the user community on models that are in development, production, etc.
• Routine Administration
  • Weekly Database backup (development, sandboxes, production) and Database backup space management.
  • Monthly checking of ARIS database and Libraries for issues and maintenance.
  • Quarterly checking of ARIS license and users.
  • Yearly checking of ARIS licenses plan/renewal.
  • Server health checking on every 3rd Sunday on the month, server restart – Or whenever IO implemented Windows Patches.
• Administration Support
  • Troubleshoot any server related issues with IT
  • Work with Software AG (vendor) for any application specific issue
  • Merge models from Development to Production databases
  • Manage user administration and provisioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Information Technology, etc.).
• Proficiency in ARIS process modeling tools, preferably with knowledge of newer ARIS versions.
• Strong understanding of business process management and optimization.
• Change management experience and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication and coaching skills
