Our prestigious client is an industry-leading integrator providing a wide range of services and solutions to the Federal Government.  They have a contract role for a Security Architect in Washington, DC, with some WFH opportunity.  In this role, you will plan, design, and implement secure cloud strategies and policies that meet client, program, and federal guidelines.  Some travel may be required with this position.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients, stakeholders and project lead to overlay and ensure security/compliance requirements are built alongside functional requirements. 
• Create, contribute, and maintain secure design patterns for existing and future projects
• Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation
• Expertise in threat modeling and ability to articulate architectural and technology decisions rationale through compliance and risk-based assessments.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to identify, correct, and implement compensating controls within focus areas of the enterprise.
• Align business objectives to security and compliance requirements across multiple internal and external teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years of Security Architecture Design experience
• 7 years of experience with the following:
  • • Network Security Architecture
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security
