Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a CLEARED Operations/Developer Engineer to support a critical National Security Mission.  This is a customer facing role, where you will help the end client understand the requirements and constraints and develop the best solutions to successfully complete the mission. This is a great chance to expand your skillset, as each project is different and offers learning experiences.

This role is in Columbia, MD and the work is performed on-site. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an active TS/SCI Federal Security Clearance to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for CNO, including frontend, middleware, or backend.
• Build, configure, and manage virtual systems.
• Operate and maintain COTS, GOTS, or custom tools as needed.
• Conduct testing, validation, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and create solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree PLUS 10+ years of technical experience OR 5+ years of experience with Master’s degree
• 7+ years of experience with the following:
  • SW Engineering with C, C++ or Python programming.
  • Computer Network Operations (CNO)
  • Bash scripting
  • Network Protocol analysis
  • Linux CLI commands and network control
• Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an active TS/SCI Federal Security Clearance willing to work on-site in Columbia, MD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Digital Forensic and Software Reverse Engineering.
• Comfortable navigating the command line.
• Desire to contribute to CTF events, bug bounty programs, and speaking at security conferences.
• Rapid Prototype Software Development experience. 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $95K-$160K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
