Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a Junior Level Network Administrator to work ONSITE in Linthicum, MD. Their team is conducting ongoing classes and training for individuals looking to advance their career in the oceanic field.  Onsite technical support is needed for the training center.  As a Network Administrator, you will maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems and applications software, hardware, and configurations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure protocols and network hardware. This is an ideal role for a  junior level candidate with some network experience and A TS/SCI FSP CLEARANCE to better their skills in their field.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT experience
• Experience with the following:
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • System hardening
  • Monthly patches
  • Controls
  • Plugins
• Experience configuring firewalls, and implementing and administering network infrastructure devides
• Knowledge of wireless access points. Routers, switches, controllers, LAN and WAN
• Security + Certification
• Experience with Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Intermapper applications/licenses a plus.
