Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a Junior Level System Administrator to work ONSITE in Linthicum, MD. Their team is conducting ongoing classes and training for individuals looking to advance their career in the oceanic field.  Onsite technical support is needed for the training center.  As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for making sure the hardware and software systems are working flawlessly each day. You will create accounts and mailboxes, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure their computer inventory database is up to date when equipment is moved, disposed, etc. This is an ideal role for a  junior level candidate with some help desk experience and A TS/SCI FSP CLEARANCE to better their skills in their field.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT experience
• Experience with the following:
  • Microsoft servers
  • PC Operating systems
  • BigFix
  • Active Directory
• Knowledge of server maintenance and Linux servers is a plus
• Security + Certification
• Experience with Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Intermapper applications/licenses a plus.
