The Squires Group is seeking a Practice Manager for a woman-owned mental health group practice specializing in trauma-informed psychotherapy committed to providing culturally competent, compassionate care to a diverse client base. The practice is rooted in anti-oppressive values and is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for both clients and clinicians.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, relationship builder, and have a deep understanding of the administrative aspects of mental health practice. This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations of the practice and supporting clinicians in providing exceptional patient care. The office is located in Glen Burnie, MD, and offers flexible onsite requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice, including scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and patient intake.
• Manage and maintain electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Coordinate with clinicians to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Develop and implement systems and processes to improve practice efficiency and productivity.
• Handle sensitive patient care requests with empathy and professionalism.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment for clinicians and staff.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative experience in a health care setting (preferably mental health).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Meet) and Excel.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, preferably TheraNest.
• Commitment to anti-oppressive practices and a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clinicians and patients.
