Our client has an immediate need for a CLEARED Cloud Migration Engineer in their Suitland, MD location.  In this role, you will Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using third-party tools and public cloud technologies driving next generation business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud
• Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using third-party tools and public cloud technologies driving next generation business outcomes
• Build clients’ cloud platforms, pipelines, and tooling, communicating with technical stakeholders and understanding the relevant engineering methods, tools, and technologies
• Design detailed technical solutions (e.g. what tools and how), implementation, engineering best practices, and cloud/DevOps engineering work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with the following:
  • Working in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment (Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Security)
  • In a production cloud environment including network, security, deployment, and automation (IaC)
  • Migrating applications from other platforms/on-premises to cloud
  • Supporting DevSecOps automated pipelines 
  • Supporting operating systems (Microsoft and Redhat Linux) and applications in an enterprise or production environment
• Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
• Experience with Software Development
• Experience with database administration/migration
• AWS Cloud Associate Certifications

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $120K-$180K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
