We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI to join our client team in Lorton, VA. In this role, you will leverage technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell & PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, and other relevant products to facilitate the software development life cycle (SDLC) for an Azure-centric capability.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as the System Administrator and serve as a subject matter expert on the Azure Cloud Platform, Azure Networking, Active Directory Services, DNS, and GPO management, providing Tier 2/3 support.
• Monitor, coordinate, and collaborate with Network Operations, Cybersecurity, and other teams to optimize solutions for both on-premises and cloud capabilities.
• Conduct analysis to support systems engineering functions for new system development efforts or critical system enhancements and patches in alignment with the project’s system engineering and configuration management protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field PLUS 2+ years of relevant experience; OR, if lacking a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Meet 8570 IAT II requirements (typically Security+ or higher).
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Systems Administration experience, Azure preferred.
• Ability to travel within the continental United States (CONUS) up to 25%.
• Willingness to work exclusively onsite (remote or hybrid arrangements are not feasible for this role).
• Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of leadership experience in a relevant capacity.
• Technical certifications such as Microsoft AZ104, AZ305, AZ500, AZ600, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, or CEH.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $97K-$155K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
